Young Farmers Ball

In New Zealand they have an organization called Young Farmers. Charlotte invited us to the Young Farmers Ball near Christchurch. It wasn't quite what we were expecting but it was a good time anyway. It was held at the local hall and smelled like pee. We were told we were getting dinner and the very nicely dressed caterers brought out chips and small sandwiches on paper plates for us to share! But the band was great! Although we couldn't quite figure out why all the kiwi's (kiwi is the term used for New Zealanders) were stomping to the beat of every song. And we thought we were hicks!
